Dancing with Athens Stars was a huge success, raising over $93,000 for Project Safe services.  The audience loved the variety of performances--everything from puppetry to hoop dancing to ballroom and stepping--the music, costumes, videos, and close competition between the participants.  After several rounds of voting, Hugh Acheson and Natalie Cox finished in first place for the Audience Favorite competition, just edging out Jim Vanden Berg and Michelle Collin.  Allan Armitage and Liza Pitts finished third. 

People's Choice Winner Erin Thompson and her partner Angelo Kalevela won the Judges' Choice trophy for their hip hop routine.  Runners up were Jorge Atiles and Addie Shue, and Sheriff Ira Edwards Jr. and Genie Wiggins.
