Project Safe knows that we can never reach our vision of a world where everyone feels safe in their homes and in their relationships without our community coming together to take action. We strive to bring our cause out of the shadows, where abusers thrive, and into the light of awareness. To accomplish this, we work to bring awareness to our entire community through presentations, training, and attending community events. We are happy to speak to your club, group, or school about the work we do, how we do it, and how you can help.

We work closely with the law enforcement agencies in our service area, and provide training and advice to them to help them better recognize and investigate domestic violence cases. Our police report review helps us to identify severe cases and reach out to survivors who otherwise may never have called us. Our Breaking Silence team works with young people to develop healthy emotional coping skills, conflict management, and relationship views.

Established research and guidelines show that the best ways to prevent domestic violence from occurring involve early intervention and societal change, so we do our best to bring healthy relationships and emotional coping mechanisms to people before the cycle begins instead of after.
