Project Safe’s confidentially located emergency shelter serves anyone who is experiencing domestic violence and in need of an undisclosed location, along with their families and pets. This 22-bed shelter features private bedrooms with communal living spaces and separate rooms for families with children. Trained shelter advocates are available 24/7 to assist with residents’ needs, and during the day work directly with survivors to set and accomplish goals for housing, employment, financial stability, and more. Project Safe provides shelter services to over 100 survivors every year.

Shelter residents receive services and care on an individually evaluated basis, as we know every survivor’s story is unique and deserves unique consideration. We strive to provide for all of our residents’ needs during their stay, including toiletries, linens, food, clothing, and even transportation, with many of these supplies generously donated by members of the community.
